Myers Park

The Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte is one of the area’s oldest and most beautiful. The work first began on John Springs Myers’ farm in 1911, and master planner John Nolen's vision for the neighborhood was to use the natural curves, gentle hills, and creeks to create a secluded glen cut off from the city. Today, Myers Park has many of Charlotte’s premier addresses, with tree-lined streets full of fine homes on curving drives. The neighborhood has many historic homes and estates sited on large lots full of willow, oak, tulip poplar, and elm, and features varying architectural styles, from Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival and Bungalows, to French Renaissance and Italianate styles.
